I greet you with deep sense of humility and respect.
Permit me to shortly introduce myself your Excellency. I'm by name COMRADE ABDULLAHI ISMAIL, a bonafied indigene of Maru Local Government, Zamfara State. A youth advocate, patriotic Nigerian and a true democrat. I happened to be one time Students Union Government President of Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State. Also, former Sports/Social Director of National Association of University Students (NAUS) with over 22 million Nigerian university students under it's umbrella studying both in Nigeria and Diaspora.
Firstly, I want to congratulate and also commend you for your tremendous efforts in restoring peace back to Zamfara State. Of course the first and most paramount thing of a leader is the security of his citizens. Security of lives and properties is undoubtedly the top most priority on the hierarchy of needs of any giving society across the globe. Absent of adequate machinery to safeguards the lives and properties of individuals invariable signifying an unprecedented level of anarchy and lawlessness taking the order of the day.
Now the good people of Zamfara can sleep with their both eyes closed. For this alone, you deserved some accolades. A job well done Sir.!
I'd like to use this great opportunity on behalf of Maru Local Government youths, to introduce a man of timber and caliber, a remorseful and magnanimous being from Maru Local Government. He's no other but, *ALH. ALIYU MUSA (SANTURAKIN MARU)*. Also advising this blessed government under your able leadership to consider him as either the sole true candidate of Maru Local Government Chairmanship race and or among the nominees of Director Generals (DGs) of any parastatal.
ALIYU MUSA was the former MTN regional marketing manager (NORTH WEST), also, national assembly candidate during the 2015 general election under the umbrella of PDP (Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency).
They said, "He who refused to engaged himself in politics, ended up being leaded by a dumber." Even before SANTURAKI engaged himself into politics, he made a lot of contributions to many communities within Maru Local Government, the state and the nation as a whole.
1. In the wake of increasing security challenges that has bedevilled the peace loving good people of Zamfara state under the watchful eyes of previous political administration of Governor Abdulazeez Yari, his strong will and desire to put to an end the destructive and live claiming calamitous insecurity situation in the state made him took the bull by the horn and donated over five (5) Hilux vehicles and other required military artilleries to combat the menace of insecurity across the state. What more will you expect of a cheerful philanthropist of his kind-hearted calibre who attached serious value to the wellbeing and security of the common man.
2. Championing the course of action that will facilitate learning across various communities within Maru Local Government, the social reformist as millions fondly called him pulled up a giant stride to extend the tentacles of his hand of generosity into effecting positive changes the lives of school children and drop out across the nook and crannies of MARU and ZAMFARA STATE at large. He recorded a remarkable achievement in distributing learning materials such as textbooks, notebooks, school bags and other writing materials that felicitate learning. Where they were lacking.
3. Given that culture is on a general ground perceived as the total way of life of the people. It is the way people behave and their entire lifestyle is well enshrined in their cultural trait. The place of culture in the life of a given people cannot be overemphasized. Our various cultural values are held in high esteem today because people die but cultural practices are passed from one generation to another. So culture is undoubtedly the best means of identifying a certain group of people. Santuraki singlehandedly took Zamfara state by storm when he restored the fading glory of the famous Kalankuwa cultural festival. He succeeded in breathing life back into the festival again and the festival raises from grass to grace beyond what the festival was known for before now. The festival took a new dimension when the popular Sharu festival which was anchored towards fostering peace and unity among various inhabitants of Zamfara state. It was not a coincidence that your Excellency borrowed a leaf from our generous father’s tree when you employed the same Sharu to restored peace and stability in the former crisis prone Zamfara state upon your resumption to office. Another eyes catching feet achieved by our generous father in this circle of Kalankuwa cultural festival is the prestigious and highly competitive and entertaining traditional wresting commonly known as Dambe.
