Global Business is always evolving. Which automatically Makes local businesses to follow suit.
Nowadays Things are fast changing; Government Policies, Markets, Tax Regulations etc.
In Katsina State, we are still doing business the old way. Here i mean both Private businesses and Govt. Facilitated businesses. I think for better results Things should not continue this way. We need to be part of the 'Global village'.
I hereby recommend the creation of a new KATSINA BUSINESS COUNCIL. The council should be made up of (Legal) Successful businessmen, Entrepreneurs, Stockbrokers, katsinawa practicing business and Tax consultancies elsewhere.
Also a Nomination from state Assembly, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Resources Development, Ministry of Agric, ICT institute and the Youths 'Brain Bank'.
Part of the Mandate of the Council should be;
- Reviewing all PPPs,
- Drafting a befitting Tax system, Providing Simple free Business Consultancy service for indigenes,
- Reviewing and Advising Govt on All grants, loans.
-Exploring FG and international financial support windows both for KTSG and for the indigenes etc.
The Council can be ran as a honorary council. With Govt. Providing only Logistics and Venue for Meetings. It is assumed that many of the members are Successful persons that require nothing to help Katsina Grow.
This may do to us more Good than the so many SAs on the Govt payroll.
