It has been 45 days since Malam Ibrahim Bature has been behind bars, after being accused of hate speech to the Governor of Katsina State Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari on 110USD loan.
Katsina Intel gathered that, the facebook activist regain his freedom after the executive governor of the state pardoned and approved his release through the state's commissioner of Justice.
It was also gathered that, the government's prosecutor and counselor were not available at the court hearing that took place on Thursday to either accept or reject the bail of the victim.
Numerous activists and human rights groups took to social media to show their dissatisfaction on how the young Comrade was mutilated and denied freedom. It was learnt that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) umbrella has given the Katsina State Government 24 hours ultimatum to release the one time NANS capon.
Comrade Bature who was and always an activist have shown and declared interest to run for the office of Governor in the next coming 2019 election under the newly registered Green Party of Nigeria (GPN).
The case has now been entirely dismissed, but the fact remains that the social media activists in the state will hold the APC Government on ransom comes 2019.
